ISLAMABAD: The federal minister for interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali on Friday held separate talks over the telephone with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Syed Munawar Hassan, and apprised them of the situation after failure in negotiation with the Taliban.
According to media reports, the JI Ameer asked the federal minister why talks were not held with Taliban in line with a mandate given to the government by the all political parties.
