KALLAR SYEDAN, Pakistan: Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday inaugurated Emergency Service Rescue 1122 in Kallar Syedan to provide the most efficient response to emergencies in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister congratulated the residents of Kallar Syedan on inauguration of Emergency Service Rescue 1122 station.
Rescue 1122 was already working very hard and efficiently and it would maintain the quality of service in Kallar Syedan also, he added.
He said the service would be helpful to rescue and assist people in case of any mishap like road traffic accidents, collapse of buildings, hazardous incidents, fires and bomb blast incidents occurring in the vicinity of Kallar Syedan.
District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi Dr. Abdul Rahman briefed the minister about the performance of Rescue 1122 and total emergency vehicles as well as staff deputed at Kallar Syedan.
Dr. Abdul Rahman said that Emergency Service was going to start in Kallar Syedan with one fire vehicle and two Rescue Cardiac Ambulances while 40 rescuers would be deputed for swift and professional response in case of any emergency or disaster.
The emergency service would provide emergency medical care, firefighting services, urban search and rescue, water rescue, animal rescue, height rescue and medical cover to the events like Eid, Muharram and Rabi-ul-Awal, he added.
