ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Federal Parliamentary Secretary Cabinet Secretariat, Raja Muhammad Javed Ikhlas Wednesday informed the National Assembly that the private schools do not charge any additional fees.

He said that the private schools have restored the fees structure of year 2014 and have been charging on the rates of this particular year.

Javed Ikhlas was responding to calling attention notice by Asiya Naz Tanoli regarding the increase in fees of private educational institutions/schools in the federal capital.

The Secretary informed that the case regarding this issue is scheduled to be heard by the High Country on Thursday October 12 and expressed the hope that the high court would give decision to resolve this issue on permanent basis.

He said that the private schools and institution have refunded all the additional fees to the parents which they had charges over the fees of year 2014.

He said that the prime minister already took suo moto action and stopped the private educational institution form enhancing the fees.
