ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed Tuesday informed National Assembly that there is no unfair distribution of funds to the provinces by the federal government.
Replying to a Calling Attention Notice, the minister said that federal government had already paid due share to the provinces and it was the prerogative of the provincial governments to start any projects for the welfare of the people.
Sheikh Aftab said that federal government is always ready to help out all the provinces in all the development projects of masses welfare.
“It was the responsibility of the provincial government to monitor funding of all the projects and equal distribution of funds at tahsil and district level,” he added.
He said that federal government is executing the projects that facilitate masses across the country and M-9 was built on modern lines like Lahore-Peshawar motorway.
