ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Continuing its tradition of organizing events on various occasions, the National Press Club (NPC) is again going to perform sacrificial of an animal as religious duty on Eid-ul-Azha.
Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated across Pakistan on Saturday (September 2, 2017) during which, according to an estimate, over 5 million animals will be slaughtered throughout the Country to commemorate the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) which he agreed upon as per Allah’ wish by sacrificing his son Prophet Ismail (AS).
The animal sacrifice will also be performed at NPC located in Islamabad’s F-6/1 Sector near Super Market on Eid-ul-Azha.
Besides sacrificing the animal, the National Press Club will also offer delicious dinner on first day of Eid (Saturday), and launch as well as dinner on second day of Eid (Sunday) to its members and their families.
The Officials of NPC are of the view that the National Press Club is committed to stand by the people especially Journalist Community in their happiness and sorrow.
They said that events organized at NPC with regard to various occasions, social services and incentives, and voicing journalists’ issues at appropriate forums reflect the dedication of the Club to fulfill the commitment, it has made to journalists.
The NPC Officials re-assured that the National Press Club would continue to extend its unequivocal support to the Journalist Community whenever required.
