PESHAWAR, Pakistan: A militant was killed while another was arrested by the security forces in an encounter in the Jannikhel area of Khyber Pakhtankhwa’s Bannu district on Saturday.
The official sources said that security forces were conducting a search operation in Frontier Region in Jannikhel. Meanwhile, militants attacked them which resulted in an exchange of fire between the two sides.
During the gun battle, the security forces killed a militant identified as Matiullah and arrested another identified as Waliullah.
