PoliticsOpposition seeks to spread despair in the Country: Iftikhar Durrani

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Media Affairs Iftikhar Durrani has said that the Joint opposition especially the gang of Jati Umra courtiers through their vile narrative seeks to spread despair in the Country.

“They are mimicking RSS (Hindu hardline nationalist group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) and BJP (India’s ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party,” Iftikhar Durrani said while commenting on opposition’s statements.

Iftikhar Durrani said that it is absurd to see the opposition propagating anti-state agenda and celebrating the crisis the Country is going through.

Referring to opposition’s demeanour during the budget session in the National Assembly, Iftikhar Durrani said that their sole aim was to disrupt the proceedings of the Parliament and they did not even bother to participate in the debate nor they gave any credible suggestion regarding the finance bill.

The special assistant went on adding that the people are availing asset declaration scheme and the opposition is chest thumping claiming that the scheme has been failed.

“Nation is celebrating first ever transparent accountability of plunderers and the opposition is maligning state institutions to safe guard those plunderers,” he said.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader further said that instead of instigating chaos through sheer propaganda, the opposition must work out plans to return looted wealth of this poor nation.
