LONDON: The Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Monday said overseas Pakistanis were the ambassadors of Pakistan, adding it was the responsibility of the State to resolve the their issues on priority basis.
Talking to a delegation of Overseas Pakistanis in London, Shahbaz Sharif said the Punjab government had established the Overseas Pakistanis Commission. He said through the institution the overseas Pakistanis were given their rights.
Shahbaz Sharif – who has recently been elected as the President of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) – said the Overseas Pakistanis Commission had been resolving the problem of overseas Pakistanis and giving them relief.
