ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army has set up a special surveillance cell at the base of Nanga Parbat to ensure protection of tourists and apprehend culprits involved in yesterday’s incident.
Interior Secretary said that three helicopters are engaged for surveillance of the base camp in the area.
He said 43 foreign and local tourists staying in the area for scaling the height have been shifted by helicopters to Gilgit. These include 19 foreigners and 24 Pakistanis.
