RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Two Pakistan army soldiers were martyred at Nakiyal Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in exchange of fire while targeting Indian posts undertaking firing on civilian population, reports DND News Agency from Rawalpindi/Islamabad.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the martyred Pakistani soldiers include Havaldar Abdur Rub and Naik Khuram.
The 31-year-old Havaldar Abdur Rab is from Dera Ghazi Khan, and has two daughters. Whereas Naik Khurram, also 31 years old and from Dera Ghazi Khan, has one daughter.
The ISPR said that there are also reeports of casualties of Indian troops and damage to post due to the effective response by Pakistan army.
The intense exchange of fire continue between forces of Pakistan and India along with the LoC at Hotspring, Tatta Pani, Nakiyal, Jandrot, Battal and Khuiratta Sectors, wherein the Indian forces are targeting civilian population.
In its earlier press release, the ISPR said that two civilians embraced Shahadat and two other received wounds as a result of Indian unprovoked firing.
Sources said that two persons received serious injuries in Tatta Pani and a missile fired by Indian forces hit a house near Old Eidgah in Nakiyal, which left three persons martyred and two further injured.
