RIYADH: The 10th session of the Joint Pak-Saudi Ministerial Commission Meeting is being held in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Tuesday to discuss several issues concerning bilateral trade and business relations between the two countries.
The two-day meeting will be attended by a high-level Pakistani delegation led by the federal minister for commerce Khurram Dastagir Khan, while the Saudi delegation will be led by the commerce minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabeah.
The Pakistani ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan said that during the meeting, proposals will be submitted for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of banking and finance, manpower export, investment in the energy sector and industrial cooperation.
Khan said that many other avenues like cooperation in Information Technology, education, science and technology, and sports etc will also be explored.
Likewise, proposals will also be submitted for cooperation in the fields of small and medium enterprise (SMEs), he added.
