BAKU, Azerbaijan: President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister of Nepal Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli have expressed their desire to further strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two Countries and to further diversify the bilateral relations in various fields of mutual interest.
The desire was expressed when they met on the sidelines of 18th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit in Baku.
The President Arif Alvi briefed Nepalese prime minister on the Indian illegal actions and Human Rights violations in Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K) in utter disregard of international law and norms.
Dr Arif Alvi expressed his hope that Nepal will play its role as SAARC Chair for strengthening peace and stability in the region. He noted that the arc of bilateral cooperation has been expanding steadily in various fields of mutual interest.
Both leaders affirmed to enhance economic relations between Pakistan and Nepal.
