This is the second quadcopter which Pakistan army has shot down this year as earlier on January 1, an Indian spying drone was downed in Bagh Sector along the LoC.
It comes as the two neighboring Countries had just reached nearly a warlike situation following the Pulwama attack; however, the tension was eventually de-escalated. But a full-fledged normalization in Pak-India ties is yet to return.
In a media talk in Multan earlier in the day, the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi reiterated Pakistan’s desire of peace and resolving all outstanding issues with India through dialogue.
The foreign minister however maintained that there is an election environment in India, and the Modi regime could have any misadventure for which they are fully alert.
