LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan Army is writing a new history of courage and bravery in the war against terrorism.
Talking to a delegation of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) office-bearers in Lahore, Shahbaz Sharif lauded the achievements and professional capabilities of Pakistan Army in the war against terror.
“The nation is proud of its armed forces,” the chief minister said according to Radio Pakistan.
The chief minister said that the people of Pakistan will succeed in the war against terrorism and they will foil the evil designs of the enemies.
The 20-point anti-terror national action plan was launched in the wake of a deadliest terrorist attack on an army public school in Peshawar on December 16 last year, to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
“The National Action Plan against terrorism will be fully implemented,” Shahbaz Sharif said.
In addition, he said that speech and essay-writing contests in educational institutions will be arranged to promote peace, brotherhood and harmony in the society.
