ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) was planning to establish another Pakistan Sweet Home and Thalassemia Centre by the end of this year in Sindh province to provide solace to the destitute, said official sources.
According to sources, PBM was playing pivotal role in providing help to the orphan children and widowed women. Helping orphan and abandoned children was responsibility of whole society and service to the humanity should be above politics.
The resident children are being provided free furnished accommodation, nutritious balanced diet, education in best schools, uniform, books, stationary, summer/winter clothing, shoes, medical, skill development, laundry service, Prayer Room, Religious education, counseling/legal aid for victims of violence and abuse.
He said the children are allowed to stay until completion of their education/ skill/ adulthood. PBM’s annual budget had been increased from Rs2 billion to Rs 6 billion. He said a dialysis center would also be set up at suitable place of the country very soon.
