ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif on Thursday said they were concerned about the terrorists sanctuaries in their neighborhood, adding no Country could ignore attacks on its territorial integrity.

While speaking at the plenary session of the three-day International Counter Terrorism Forum in Islamabad, the foreign minister said Pakistan had been a major victim of terrorism, and terrorists were trying to undermine its sovereignty.

Khawaja Asif said their success against the menace of terrorism was helping them realize vision of a democratic Pakistan.

The minister said the whole nation stood united in the fight against terrorism, and had unwavering resolve to eliminate the menace.

The foreign minister said their forces had offered unprecedented sacrifices to defend the motherland and they were ready to offer more sacrifices for the Country.

Furthermore, the minister said democratic Pakistan sought foreign investment in the Country, and said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would change the fate of the region.

“We are working to achieve goal of sustainable development,” he added.
