ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan has condemned the registering of FIR against Kashmiri leader Aasiya Andarabi, calling it another example of Indian state terrorism in Occupied Kashmir.
On Friday, the Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) said an FIR had been registered against Kashmiri leader Aasiya Andarabi and her associates on April 26, for allegedly advocating secession of Jammu and Kashmir from the Union of India and calling for Jihad and use of violence against the Country.
“We condemn Indian registration of FIR against Kashmiri leader Aasiya Andarabi – continuing Indian attempts to implicate Hurriyat leadership on fabricated charges is yet another example of Indian state terrorism, to subjugate Kashmiris. This too shall fail,” the Spokesman of the Foreign Office in Islamabad Dr Muhammad Faisal said in a twitter message on Saturday.
Dr Faisal said after the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OCHCR), India continues with intensified crackdown in Occupied Kashmir, targeting the vocal Kashmiris, especially the Hurriyat leadership.
