ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that Pakistan Railways is being developed on modern lines and the Country would like to utilize Turkey’s experiences in this sector.

Turkish ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul called on him in Islamabad on Friday and discussed cooperation in rail projects between Pakistan and Turkey, the railways minister invited the Turkish companies to become collaborate in ML-II and III and Quetta, Zahidan and Taftan rail line upgradation.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that Pakistan Railways will extend full cooperation to Turkish companies if they become partner in Locomotive Factory Risalpur.

The Turkish ambassador said that his Country has the capability to provide expertise and partnership in housing, tourism and infrastructure development projects in Pakistan.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmad thanked Turkey and its people on extending complete support to Pakistan’s stance in the prevailing situation.
