ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Office on Thursday said Pakistan and India were keen for the resumption of foreign-secretary level talks, however, no date of meeting had been finalized so far.
“Both sides realize that dialogue is the only way out,” the Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria said in his maiden media briefing here at the Foreign Office.
The Foreign Office spokesman said the two sides were working to settle the modalities of meeting, however, no dates had been finalized yet.
About the investigation on Pathankot incident, he said no report had not been concluded so far.
However, he said Pakistan and India were in constant touch with each other on the issues relating to investigation.
He reiterated that there was no organized presence of militant group Daesh in the country.
About the statement of Director General Intelligence Bureau (IB) on dismantling of Daesh network in the country, he said Ministry of Interior could be approached for further details.
