KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain warned Muslim Ummah that their titanic would sink if urgent measures were not taken.
Speaking to members of party’s rabita committee on phone from London today, Hussain said that Pakistan’s situation was like a sinking Titanic ship, whose captains were misleading the people of Pakistan.
“All is well. Everything is fine. Everything will be all-right. The Almighty had created this nation and it is He who would protect it,” he warned, referring to claims of rulers.
The MQM chief said that people were being misled again. “Radio Pakistan was claiming that our armed forces were gaining success in the East Pakistan, the present Bangladesh,” he said.
The truth is that 93, 000 troops had surrendered to Indian army at that time, he recalled.
He appealed to Pakistan nation that his warning should not be forgotten like any other statement.
