The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi visited Saudi Arabia wherein he separately called on the Saudi military leadership and Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT).
In the meeting, matters of mutual interests including bilateral defence collaboration and maritime security in the region were discussed.
The dignitaries appreciated the initiatives taken by Pakistan Navy and acknowledged the significance of strong Pakistan-Saudi Arabia bilateral defence collaboration.
The Naval Chief also attended the event of World Defense Show organised by the Saudi Ministry of Defence.
In a statement, a Spokesman of the Pakistan Navy said that the visit of the Naval Chief to Saudi Arabia will further promote the bilateral relations between the two Countries.
