ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Country registered 914 new COVID-19 infections with a positivity ratio of 2.05% on June 27, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

In the last 24 hours, 20 patients died of the virus across the Country including 11 who were placed on ventilators in various hospitals.

The NCOC’s data showed that on June 27, 8 COVID-19 patients passed away in Punjab and Sindh each, and 4 died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

With fresh Coronavirus Cases, now the total number of infections recorded so far in the Country has reached 955,657.

To date, 345,900 people have tested positive in Punjab, 336,076 in Sindh, 137,759 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 82,596 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 27,064 in Balochistan, 20,243 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 6,019 in the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

Whereas the Country has so far suffered 22,231 deaths from COVID-19. Out of them, 10,729 fatalities have been registered in Punjab, 5,418 in Sindh, 4,308 in KPK, 776 in ICT, 582 in AJK, 307 in Balochistan, and 111 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

As of now, 901,201 infected people have now fully recovered in the Country while 32,225 are still battling with the infection.
