ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Country recorded further 2,117 Coronavirus Cases and 43 deaths on May 30, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

The statistics showed that out of 52,223 COVID-19 tests conducted on May 30, 2,117 returned positive with a ratio of 4.05%.

In the last 24 hours, 17 people succumbed to COVID-19 in Punjab, 13 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6 in Sindh, 3 each in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 1 in Balochistan.

To date, a total of 921,053 Coronavirus Cases have been detected across the Country including 339,686 in Punjab, 317,665 in Sindh, 132,549 in KPK, 81,195 in ICT, 25,148 in Balochistan, 19,232 in AJK, and 5,578 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Whereas in total 20,779 people have died of the virus so far in the Country. Out of them, 9,999 have lost their lives in Punjab, 5,020 in Sindh, 4,073 in KPK, 760 in ICT, 543 in AJK, 277 in Balochistan, and 107 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

So far 841,241 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the infection across the Country; however, 59,033 are still battling with the virus.
