Pakistan records 43 more deaths from COVID-19

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan recorded 43 more deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, as per the latest statistics compiled by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

Of them, 29 deaths occurred in Punjab, 6 in Sindh, 4 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 1 each in Balochistan, Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and Gilgit-Baltistan.

With the latest fatalities, now the number of people having passed away of Coronavirus in the Country has jumped to 13,324.

Most of the deaths have so far been recorded in Punjab wherein 5,629 COVID-19 patients have died of the disease.

The Sindh province has so far registered 4,442 deaths, KPK 2,122, ICT 512, Balochistan 202, AJK 314, and Gilgit-Baltistan 103.

In the last 24 hours, further 1,786 people turned out to be Corona positive across the Country.

As of March 10, a total of 595,239 Coronavirus Cases have been detected in the Country.

Out of them, 260,150 Cases have been registered in Sindh, 179,654 in Punjab, 74,433 in KPK, 46,229 in ICT, 19,141 in Balochistan, 10,673 in AJK, and 4,959 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, 565,216 COVID-19 patients have been recovered from the disease whereas 16,699 still remain under treatment.
