KARACHI: Pakistan on Monday asked India to apologize for leveling allegations against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) slain MPA Manzar Imam as a mastermind behind blasts in Indian Hyderabad, a day after Indian security agencies alleged Imam for being the Hyderabad blasts’ mastermind, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
MQM is a political party, which has nothing to do with Hyderabad bombing, Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik told media person.
“If India has any evidence to back his claim, they should share it with Pakistan,” Malik said.
Indian security agencies on Sunday accused MQM MPA, who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Karachi last month, for masterminding the twin blasts that shook Indian southern city of Hyderabad last week and claimed 16 lives.
Following the allegations against Imam put by the Indian agencies, Indian media reacted irresponsibly and immediately published the picture of Imam without any verification.
