LAHORE, Pakistan: The 15-member Pakistan’s Squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has been announced with Babar Azam and Shadab Khan retained as Captain and Vice Captain respectively while the injured Naseem Shah has been missed out.
The Chief Selector Inzamam Ul Haq announced the squad in a Press Conference at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday morning.
The 13th Edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup will be held in India from October 05 to November 19, 2023.

Inzamam Ul Haq said that Naseem Shah will be out of action for at least 6-8 weeks as per the advice of doctors; therefore, he won’t part of the World Cup 2023 at all.
The fast bowler Naseem Shah had suffered a shoulder injury during Asia Cup 2023 in a match against India on September 11 and was ruled out of the tournament.
