ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Sweden on Monday held parliamentary level talks at the parliament house in Islamabad, during which the two sides discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interests.
The Pakistani side was led by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq while Speaker of the Swedish Parliament Per Westerberg led its delegation.
Earlier, a 20-member Swedish trade and parliamentary delegation visited the National Assembly Hall and the library.
The Swedish delegation arrived in Islamabad on Sunday on a three-day official visit to Pakistan on the invitation of the Speaker National Assembly.
The delegation is also scheduled to hold meetings with President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
