ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan will participate in Expo 2017, an International Exposition scheduled to take place next year in Kazakhstan’s Capital Astana.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Trade Development of Pakistan (TDAP) said that the Secretary TDAP Rabiya Javeri Agha signed an agreement to participate in Astana Expo – 2017.
The agreement was signed during the “International Participant Meeting” held at Astana. The State Minister for Petroleum Jam Kamal also witnessed the agreement signing ceremony.
More than 80 countries will participate in Expo 2017 which will be held for June 10 to September 10 next year.
With its theme “Future Energy”, Astana Expo 2017 aims at creating a global debate between countries, NGOs, companies and the general public on the crucial question “how do we ensure safe and sustainable access to energy for all while reducing CO2 emissions?
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan under the patronage of Ministry of Commerce will participate in the event.
