ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada on Friday said students of Yemen would be provided scholarships under Cultural Exchange Program.
In a meeting with Yemen’s ambassador to Pakistan Muhammad Motahar Alashabi in Islamabad, the minister said Yemeni students would be provided proper facilities in Pakistan.
The two dignitaries discussed matters regarding education and sports besides scholarship program for Yemeni students during the meeting.
Riaz Pirzada said Pakistan and Yemen were brotherly Islamic Countries and enjoying cordial relations. He said Pakistan greatly valued its relations with Yemen and people of Pakistan had great respect for the people of Yemen.
The Yemeni ambassador thanked the federal minister, and said Pakistan and Yemen had close and fraternal ties. He noted that students from Yemen were studying in different educational institutions in Pakistan.
The Director General Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera and officers of Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination were also present in the meeting.
