ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan is making a film with the collaboration of Uzbekistan on Zaheeruddin Babar, the first Mughal Emperor, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said.
Talking to the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Khazar Farhadov who met him in Islamabad and discussed matters of mutual interest including cooperation in film, drama, music, and media, the minister said that Pakistan and Azerbaijan have longstanding, religious, cultural, and historical ties.
The information minister said that Pakistan desires to promote cooperation with Azerbaijan in the fields of drama and film.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that Pakistani dramas can be played in Azerbaijan with translation.
The minister said that Pakistan is an attractive country for tourism, and the film and drama makers of Azerbaijan can benefit from these tourist resorts.
In addition, he said that as the world is facing the challenge of fake news, bilateral cooperation is the need of the hour. He said that fake news can be eliminated with the bilateral cooperation in the field of media, particularly the news agencies of the two states.
