Pakistan topped the Group A while Bangladesh stood second in the Group B in the initial stage of the tournament.

For Bangladesh match, Pakistan have replaced Mohammad Nawaz with Faheem Ashraf. Pakistan now have four pace options, one regular spinner in Shadab Khan and two more spin options in Agha Salman and Iftikhar Ahmed.
