WASHINGTON: United States: Pakistan wants to resolve political, security and trade issues with India through a comprehensive dialogue, the prime minister’s special assistant on foreign affairs Tariq Fatemi said while speaking at US think tank Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington.
Fatemi said that Pakistan and India would work on realizing goal of non-discriminatory market access, once the dialogue is revived.
The prime minister’s special assistant said that whether it is Afghanistan, Iran or India, Pakistan has been making a consistent effort to reach out the leadership of these countries.
Regarding Pakistan-US relations, Fatemi said that despite hiccups, the two countries have had close ties and there is awareness about permanence and further strengthening of the key partnership.
