ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s adviser on Finance Miftah Ismail has said that Pakistan Companies and Businessmen have been taking active part in exhibitions in United Arab Emirates (UAE), and would participate in such events in future also.
In a meeting with the ambassador of UAE Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi in Islamabad on Friday during which matters concerning Pak-UAE collaboration in different spheres were discussed, the adviser assured the ambassador of his full support in endeavours to strengthen Pak-UAE relations and overall cooperation.
Miftah Ismail said that collaboration in the education and health sectors was indeed important and focus would be laid on these areas in future.
The UAE ambassador said that there was need to foster collaboration in health and education sectors which would ultimately help promote human resource development. He also exchanged views with the adviser on Dubai Expo.
Separately, the French ambassador Marc Barety also meet Miftah Ismail in Islamabad and discussed matters concerning Pakistan-France economic cooperation besides other matters of mutual interest.
Miftah Ismail said that both Pakistan and France countries have always enjoyed cordial relations and there is scope for furtherance of their economic partnership.
The adviser assured the French ambassador his all-out support for efforts aimed at enhancing bilateral economic cooperation.
