KABUL, Afghanistan: The Afghan government has summoned the Pakistan’s Charge d’Affaires Muazzam Shah over recent declarations by the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Punjabi faction regarding declaration of war in Afghanistan.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan on Monday, it was stated that the Afghan government conveyed its deep concerns to the Pakistani Charge d’Affaires regarding the war declarations by the Punjabi Taliban militants in Afghanistan.
The statement said that the ministry of foreign affairs strongly condemned the declaration by the Punjabi Taliban militants to wage insurgency activities in Afghanistan.
The head of the political affairs in the Afghan foreign affairs ministry Abdul Samad Samad insisted that such remarks and movements by the Punjabi Taliban are clear conspiracies against the stability and security of Afghanistan.
Samad further said that Afghanistan has been suffering from terrorist groups which are funded, equipped and trained by Pakistani intelligence agencies. He insisted that use of terrorism as a political tool is not in the interest of any nation.
