WASHINGTON: The US special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan James Dobbins has criticized Islamabad for not taking appropriate measures to curb terrorism in Pakistan, and said that religious seminaries (Madrasas) in FATA and Balochistan are the cause of attacks inside Afghanistan and India.
During the hearing into the Afghan crisis in the US Congress, Dobbins insisted on Pakistan’s vital role in resolving the crisis in Afghanistan.
The US special envoy also expressed concerns regarding the relations between Islamabad and Washington, and said that the relations between the two nations had become “abysmally low and gravely worst.”
