RIYADH, Saudi Rabia: Surgical Specialist Dr. Naeem Chaudhary has died of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Makkah, becoming the first Pakistan doctor who died from the pandemic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Naeem Chaudhary is survived by his wife Dr. Tooba Chaudhary, who is a Radiologist in Makkah, and three daughters.
In a message of condolence to the widow of Dr. Naeem Chaudhary, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz offered heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, and also assured her of the Embassy’s support during this hour of trial.
“I am deeply saddened to learn about the demise of Dr. Naeem Khalid Chaudhry your beloved Husband. He laid down his life for the humanitarian cause in these difficult circumstances. His services will always be remembered. May Allah Almighty rest the soul in eternal peace, and give you and the bereaved family the courage to bear this irreparable loss (Ameen),” Ambassador Raja Ali Ejaz wrote in his condolence message.
