ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s exports to the United Kingdom grew by 31% to US$ 1.709 billion in July-April 2021 from US$ 1.309 billion recorded in the same period last year, according to the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood.
In a statement on Friday, the adviser said that these are the highest-ever exports to UK in a 10-months’ period.
Abdul Razak Dawood said that the remittances from the UK also increased by 62% during July-March 2021.
The adviser said that I encourage the exporters to consolidate their exports to the UK.
The adviser also commended the efforts of the Ministry of Commerce’s Trade & Investment Officers at Pakistan’s Trade Mission in London and Pakistan’s Trade Officer in Manchester, and urged them to facilitate more our exporters and investors.
