KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total liquid foreign reserves were further reduced to to US$ 12.66 billion as of October 20, 2023, decreasing by US$ 257 million in a week.

The latest data shared by the State Bank of Pakistan showed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country stood at US$ 12,655.6 million.

The Central Bank’s foreign reserves also plunged to US$ 7.5 billion in the week ended on October 20, showing a decrease by US$ 219.8 million.

The reserves held by the Central Bank stood at US$ 7,494.2 million by Friday last whereas previously they were US$ 7,714.0 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,161. million as of October 20, registering a decrease of US$ 37.5 million.Pakistan’s foreign reserves continue to fall; further down by $257 million
