ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan’s exports of ICT & Telecommunication Services grew by 40% to US$ 958 million in July-December 2020 as compared to US$ 684 million during the same period last year, the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said.
In a series of tweets on Friday, the adviser apprised that the ICT & Telecom Exports grew by 43% to US$ 194 million in December 2020 as compared to US$ 135 million in December 2019.
Razak Dawood said that the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) exports now constitute 33% of Pakistan’s total Export of Services which is an encouraging development.
“I am optimistic that, Insha’Allah, exports of ICT will cross US$ 2 billion this year,” he said.
The adviser also said that the Ministry of Commerce at your service should you face any hurdle in exporting.
