ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the international community did not duly recognize unprecedented sacrifices, Pakistan had rendered in the war against terrorism.
The minister made these remarks in a meeting with the Special Envoy of UK Prime Minister on Terrorism Clovis Meath-Baker in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The British High Commissioner to Pakistan Philip Barton was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed regional security and matters of mutual interest.
The interior minister said that restoration of complete peace in all parts of the country is top priority of the government.
On the occasion, Clovis Meath-Baker praised sacrifice made by Pakistan and assured complete support of Britain to Pakistan in its efforts to tackle the menace of terrorism.
