ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A “National Exhibition on IT and Computer Tools for Science and Education” will be held at Pak-China Friendship Center in Islamabad from November 17-19.
The three-day exhibition is being organized by Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Center (PASTIC).
Talking to the state-run news agency in Islamabad, an official of PASTIC said the exhibition would host more than 100 participants to display their latest innovations and technological achievements in the form of products and projects.
The official said all major players in the IT industry across the Country would participate such as hardware companies, cellular companies and software developers as well as colleges and universities involved in IT activities.
The PASTIC official said objectives behind the exhibition are showcasing modern ICT technologies, business ideas and true skills, displaying innovative educational products, projects or ideas, connecting professionals in the industry with emerging youth and one-stop forum for ICT industry with optimum networking.
Moreover, he said there would be three main pavilions including Computer Hardware/ Accessories Pavilion, Computer Software Pavilion and Innovative Pavilion.
Under those Pavilions, the exhibition would feature display of latest computer hardware and software, telecommunication and security equipments, modern electricity/data backup equipment, innovative ICT ideas from schools, colleges and universities, parallel sessions of seminars, conferences and workshops on emerging ICT topics and award distribution for best innovative idea and stall presentation, the official said.
