KABUL, Afghanistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif held a meeting with the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai in Kabul on Thursday.
During the meeting, the army chief said that peaceful and stable Afghanistan is in Pakistan’s best interest.

The COAS also called on the Afghan Defense Minister Bismillah Muhammadi and the Afghan Chief of General Staff General Sher Muhammad Karimi, and discussed matters to enhance bilateral military to military relations.
The Pakistan army chief offered full range of training courses and facilities in Pakistan’s training institutions to Afghan security forces.
