LAHORE: A petition was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday, challenging the appointment of Imtiaz Ahmed as the Chairman National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
A civilian named Saad Rasool filed the petition, stating that Imtiaz Ahmad was serving as the additional secretary at the interior ministry. It is further stated that it was illegal that Imtiaz Ahmed was given the additional charge as the chairman NADRA.
The petitioner pleaded the LHC to nullify the appointment of Imtiaz Ahmed as the chairman NADRA.
