ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Five Prado vehicles of the Ministry of Communication have been auctioned on Tuesday for Rs 18,940,000 (PM Austerity drive).
As many as 76 vehicles of National Highway Authority (NHA) are being auctioned in the first phase in Islamabad today as part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s austerity drive.
The vehicles being auctioned today include 24 luxury vehicles and 15 cars.

276 vehicles of Communication Ministry will be auctioned under PM Austerity drive
So far five Prado vehicles have been sold out for Rs 18,940,000. The first Pardo vehicle was auctioned for Rs 4,060,000, second for Rs 4,270,000, third for Rs 3,340,000, fourth for 3,600,000, and fifth for 3,670,000.
In the next phase, the vehicles of the Ministry of Communication will be auctioned in Karachi and Quetta.
Overall a fleet of 276 vehicles will be auctioned.

Meanwhile, further 49 expensive vehicles of the Prime Minister House will be auctioned on Wednesday (tomorrow) in the second phase under the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Earlier in the first phase, 70 vehicles and eight buffaloes were sold out as part of the austerity drive.
