ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has congratulated the Ministry of Maritime Affairs for finalizing a new and dynamic Blue Economy Policy to revitalize our Shipping Sector.
In a Twitter statement on Saturday, the prime minister said that it will save Pakistan’s valuable forex reserves and create more employment opportunities for our seafarers.
“We will ensure Pakistan fulfills its enormous maritime potential,” the prime minister said.

In his response, the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi expressed gratitude to Allah for the achievement and appreciated the acknowledgment by the prime minister.
Ali Zaidi also expressed the resolve that we will overcome challenges and deliver our best by realizing & maximizing the enormous potential of the Blue Economy in Pakistan.
