RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the Rawalpindi Railway Station on Monday, and inaugurated the Sir Syed Express, a non-stop train from Rawalpindi to Karachi to facilitate passengers and also earn revenue for Pakistan Railways.

“The Sir Syed Express aims at facilitating the passengers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir who travel towards Karachi and other Southern Cities of the Country,” according to the PM Office.

The Sir Syed Express will travel from Rawalpindi to Karachi via Faisalabad, Khanewal, and Hyderabad.

The travel time of the train, after completion of ML-1, will reduce to 10 hours.

The prime minister reiterated that there would be no concession for the looters and plunderers.

“There will be no NRO whatever approach they make to save their skin. I will make them answerable,” he said.

Imran Khan said that if today, both Zardari and Nawaz Sharif brought back the looted money, the rupee would be strengthened, easing the pressure of dollar.
