ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to launch “Kamyab Jawan Program” at Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad on Thursday, aiming at to make the most of Pakistan’s youth bulge for the prosperity of the Country.

The Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Program is mainly focused on six thematic areas; mainstreaming marginalized youth, employment and economic empowerment, civic engagement, social protection, health and wellbeing, and youth-focused institutional reforms.

Under the program, the youth will be granted interest free loans from Rs 10,000 to Rs 5,000,000 on easy terms for employment, higher education and skill development.

In her Tweets, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Dr Firdous Ashiq said that the Kamyab Jawan Program will turn out to be a milestone in solving youth employment and other issues. She said that Rs 100 billion have been allocated for the uplift & empowerment of the youth.

Dr Firdous said that the program also includes a 25 percent quote for women as financially empowering women to help them compete the developed world is part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision.

Earlier briefing media about the program in Islamabad, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar said that the Kamyab Jawan Program is fully focused on ensuring employment opportunities to the youth, providing them proper platforms to excel.

Usman Dar said that no amount of people’s tax is incurred on the program as it is supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He said that the federal government also devises state of the art digital platform for the youth to help them achieve their goals of a bright future.
