FAISALABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will fully support wealth creation and industrialization in Pakistan to promote economic activities.
While addressing Businessmen and Industrialists in Faisalabad on Wednesday, the prime minister said that it is the main policy of the PTI government to industrialize Pakistan which is vital for job creation as well.
The prime minister said that suggestions and input from the Business Community will be welcomed to strengthen the economy.
Imran Khan emphasized the need on imparting training to labourers for the value addition of Pakistani products.
Moreover, he asked the Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar to work for the establishment of Textile Skills Institutions in this regard. He also urged the Business Community to take care of labour class’ interests with the growth of their businesses.
The prime minister further said that his government believes in solving people’s problems at the primary level for which a new local government system is being introduced in the Country.
Imran Khan said that under the new local government system, every Urban Center will have its own directly elected Mayor. He said that Cities will be made more empowered to resolve their problems at the local level and without looking for any help from the provincial or the federal government.
Earlier in his address, the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar announced a development package worth Rs 13 billion for Faisalabad.
