ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday expressed satisfaction over the present performance of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the Country’s premier anti-corruption agency.
“Eradication of corruption, promotion of transparency and across the board accountability of corrupt elements is the first priority,” the prime minister said while talking to the Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal who along with the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Accountability Mirza Shahzad Akbar met him at the PM Office in Islamabad.
The prime minister said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led federal government was committed to further strengthen NAB.
The Chairman NAB felicitated Imran Khan on assuming the Office of the Prime Minister, and also apprised the latter about the functioning of NAB.

Separately, the former Managing Director PTV Yousaf Baig Mirza also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today and discussed issues relating to media.
Meanwhile, according to sources, the prime minister has decided to expand the Federal Cabinet.
Sources said that Ali Amin Gandapur and Ali Zaidi are likely to be included in the Federal Cabinet. They said that Azam Swati will be the Federal Minister for Science and Technology.
