ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday directed the Federal Minister for Petroleum & Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to ensure that gas consumers are given maximum relief.
In a meeting with the minister who called on him at the PM House in Islamabad, the prime minister also directed him to enhance coordination with respect to Energy projects.
The petroleum and natural resources minister apprised the prime minister on various ongoing projects and initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources, especially in the field of oil and gas exploration in the country.
The minister also briefed the prime minister on the progress regarding Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) import and the measures taken for fuel supply to various sectors.
